About us

Kyle Boys Club was originally formed in 2001, the badge on the shirt had seven stars on it which was to symbolise the original seven players that they had.

The current under 11's (born 1996) was formed in 2004 by Coaches Neil Duffy and Derek Brown and took on the name of the club along with the badge.
The boys had a tough 1st season 2004/2005, where they were just finding their feet (no pun intended!) and getting used to playing as a team, consequently they suffered quite a few defeats in the 1st season (as most new teams do) but they learned and grew stronger, thanks to the excellent coaching and guidance from Neil and Derek, they trained hard right through the summer of 2005 without any breaks, and it has paid dividends with the team now a much more formidable side to be reckoned with.

Season 2005/2006, only their 2nd season, the turnaround was quite remarkable with them winning most of their games now instead of losing. Their playing style has improved greatly, the confidence and self-belief is now shining through and it is a joy to watch!

They are going from strength to strength and long may it continue....Go Kyle!
